Who we are
GuestObsessed Guide publishes www.guestobsesssed.autos, an independent guide to the GuestObsessed customer satisfaction survey. We are not affiliated with Checkers Drive-In Restaurants, Inc. Enquiries, including privacy requests, go through our contact page.
What we do not collect
We think it is clearer to start here.
- We never receive your survey answers. The survey runs on Checkers’ own platform. Our links open it; we have no visibility into it.
- We never receive your receipt, store number, validation code or coupon. There is no form on this site that accepts them and we would not want them.
- We have no user accounts, no logins and no profiles.
- We do not sell personal information to anyone, for any purpose.
What is collected when you visit
Server logs
Our hosting provider records standard request information — IP address, browser user-agent, the page requested, the time, and the referring page. This is used for security and to keep the site running, and is retained for a limited period.
Cookies and advertising
This site is supported by display advertising, including Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies at aboutads.info/choices or the NAI opt-out page.
- Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies entirely. The site works without them.
Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are read and where readers arrive from. This is aggregate information about pages, not about identifiable individuals.
The contact form
If you write to us, we receive the name, email address and message you supply, through a third-party form provider. We use it to reply and, where relevant, to correct the site. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not share your details. Please do not send us receipt photographs or validation codes.
Links to other sites
We link to guestobsessed.com and occasionally to other external pages. Once you follow a link you are on someone else’s site under their privacy policy, not ours. We would encourage you to read the privacy terms of the survey before submitting anything to it.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. The survey we write about requires participants to be 18 or over.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information held about you, and to object to certain processing. Because we hold almost nothing, such requests are usually short conversations. Write to us through the contact page.
Residents of California, and of other jurisdictions with comparable laws, may have additional rights including the right to know what categories of personal information are collected and the right to opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information.
Changes
